I know I have been quite inactive the past month, alot of private stuff going on and upcoming exams, but I will try to be more active again from now on. Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Don Mattrick just announced that Microsoft is back peddling with the XBOne, removing the disastrously awful features we've been bashing them for trying to inflict on us.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel.  Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind).  So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me?  Pantser?  I think?  But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid.  And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly.  And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.

Hello readers,
It's been yonks since I've updated and I apologise. Honestly, I haven't been hapy enough with anything I've drawn to upload it.
But I'll make y'all a deal. I'll upload something. A watercolour something.
Here's the story;
I went on an art camp for a week (I know, I'm not a geek or anything), I wanted to do a Portraiture class but sadly it was full. My second option was Watercolour and Sketching. This was my first experience with proper watercolour paints and it was interesting. So after the week I came home with four nice paintings. So I'll upload them eventually.

To all that have stuck with me through my silence, thanks.

you should be proud of me ive finally seen the movie scott Pilgrimms it was a great movie and there were many funny momments but my mum stupidly walks in at the moment where walace and that other guy are kissing but heres the weird thing she just sat on the couch to continue watching the movie.

i just got back from NZ and i had a great time. i also have lots of stories to tell cant wait to see you at school. oh and i heard you died ur hair.

I'm glad you enjoyed Scott Pilgrim. Well Wallace is pretty amazing so that awkward moment could be ignored.

Can't wait to hear them; I've always wanted to go to NZ. Yup I've dyed my hair. I felt like a change. :)

At Steamboat Springs, America. Duh.
However i haven't being able to ski because on the second day here I got a painful ear infection plus a headache that nearly makes me fall over because I get dizzy, a dry and sore throat, a blocked nose and sore joints.
So yeah. Everyone in my family has skied but I've being sleeping. Fudge!
